Learning about money is a critical skill in elementary school and this app provides an easy and convenient way for kids to practice. What I especially liked about the app is that it works for different ages and levels. For example, the easiest gets you matching the coins to their value. It’s simple and fun. The most difficult level is Advanced Make Change in which you make change from items into the dollar amount, rather than just cents.
The design is functional, but not exciting which works well in this app, as it appeals to a range of ages. Plus the design does not get in the way of learning about money which can sometimes be complicated for kids. This app could also be used for travelers coming to the US to learn about the currency.
Bottom-line: I use this app to help my own kids learn about money, and to reinforce the curriculum in the classroom.
