I had thought that I was over the whole potty training phase, unfortunately a little potty training regression has changed that. Luckily this means I have decided to review some potty training apps.
Like most apps I review I started off by checking out potty training apps in the App Store. Obviously, there are many to choose from including apps that help you predict likely potty times.
For my purposes I was looking for a potty training app that would appeal to my child. Two of the potty training apps that I decided to download and review were It’s Potty Time – AppsNMinded and I Love Potty Training – Joy Berry Enterprises. Both potty training apps appealed to my 4 year old son, but despite loving the adorable graphics on It’s Potty Time, I thought that I Love Potty Training was the best potty training app.
The I Love Potty Training app included a potty training book for boys and a separate one for girls, there is also a potty training game, advice and help for parents and a sticker chart. This is a mammoth sized iPhone app which is best downloaded and synced with your computer.
If like me, you want to try both apps to keep your potty training child interested you can download both for less than one printed potty training book.
As a side note, this means that I have had to relinquish control of my iPhone to my kid while he uses the potty. No accidents with it so far – touch wood – but I keep Lysol in hand for a quick de-germify after.
