Peekaboo Sesame Street not only includes classic Sesame Street characters, but also the familiar voices of those characters and the theme song to Sesame Street that children will love. It also includes wonderful graphics that mimic the Sesame Street set including Oscar the Grouches trashcan. With other sound effects like Ernie’s silly laugh and the squeak of rubber ducky, this app comes to life and is great for children who love Sesame Street.
Education
Just like many of the other Peekaboo apps, this app allows children to work on identifying new words and practicing their reading skills. As they tap the door (or trashcan) to open it, a character appears and their name is shown above them while they read it aloud. Since the Sesame Street characters are well known to many children, this allows them to associate the word or name with the character and is great for pre-readers.
