Find Me Shapes is a very simple shape-sorting app designed for young learners. The app is intuitive to use, with voiced directions for each activity. It is easy to use and very well adapted to young players. Parents can access settings from the home screen of the app by tapping the gear in the upper left corner of the screen. From here they can isolate color/shape/both, change the difficulty level (or choose to set progressive), and change the number of items per level from a minimum of 5 to a max of 20.

This app helps children practice matching shapes and colors, paying attention to two attributes, memory, focus, and related skills. The app presents a single shape and a child narrator that announces its shape and color. Then the app presents an array of colored shapes, and the user must tap the matching shape. There are five levels, each with five to twenty items, so the app does move very quickly on the progressive mode.
Use the settings section to customize the app for your learner. You can choose a level of difficulty: Level 1 has 4 shapes, Level 2 has 12, Level 3 has 20, Level 4 has 48 and Level 5 has 70. If you choose a level here, this will lock the level until you change it (preventing younger kids from getting frustrated). If you choose “progressive,” the app will advance after one round to the next level of complexity. Choose if learners need to attend to just color, just shape or both.
