Not only is it diverse in the variety of educational levels, but it also has several adventure-based stages for each grade level. With questions in science, english, history, and so many more, this app will provide a ton of educational practice while children are on summer vacation.

Brain Quest offers high quality images and illustrations along with a fun adventure-based set up that will engage children as they answer a variety of educational questions. The simple animation provides an environment that will allow children to easily focus on the questions while they attempt to gain as many points as possible in each grade level. The user interface is easy to use and doesn’t require a lot of direction or instructions. All-in-all this app is a good quality educational app.
This app is a wonderful educational app because it allows children to practice a wide variety of questions and subjects over 5 grade levels. There are math, history, english, science, and many other subjects included. The questions are set up as multiple choice questions that provide a great way for children to think through each answer. This will also help them for when they go back to school and are given multiple choice questions as well.
Included in the free version are 100 questions for each grade, with the option to upgrade each level or all for an additional fee. The free version provides a great way for children and parents to try the app before making the additional purchase for the other questions.
While the trivia set-up is great for children in school to test their knowledge, it would be nice to include another aspect of the game to review and learn information. Teachers may find this to be a fun way to quiz children on information they are learning in class as a way to break up the school day.
Brain Quest will be most entertaining for children who really like trivia or for children that enjoy being challenged and collecting points and high scores. Teachers may also find that students welcome this fun way to test their knowledge as opposed to the more traditional review options in class.
The adventure aspect of the app will help keep children engaged as it requires children to answer a set number of questions correctly in order to move their adventurer to the next step in their journey. While not the most entertaining educational app out there, it will keep children busy as they work to achieve their next high score.
The free version of this app is great because it provides children and parents an opportunity to try the app before they make additional purchases. It includes 100 questions for each grade level that will give children a ton of practice learning and answering various multiple choice trivia questions. The additional questions for each level are available for purchase for $2.99 a piece or for $9.99 for all levels that will provide hours of trivia fun. While $9.99 seems like a bit much, the amount of additional questions and educational practice is a pretty good deal. Another thing to consider is the fact that it allows you to set up 3 profiles at once which is great for families with more than one child.
While the user interface of this app is very intuitive there is also an option to view instructions and helpful hints under the tools button on the main page. As children play through each grade level, parents won’t have to worry about any advertisements or social media links since there are none. There are however, in app purchases available to unlock the additional questions in each level, or to unlock all levels. Other than that, this app is great for children of all ages, but primarily for children in grades 1-5.
