Kiwi and Pear's World Adventure iPod

Farm Animals – Story and Games is a delightful app for toddlers and preschoolers. The ebook part of the app takes us through farm animal sounds and what the animals do on the farm. The games part of the app has an animal sound matching game and a set of simple puzzles. Beautifully illustrated and narrated, this app is well worth the reasonable $1.99 price tag.

The only downside is that one the home page of the app, the Cloth Book Edition button, does little more than promote the soft book version of the app – yet is given equal weight to the books and games. I do not have an issue with developers promoting their other products, but it shouldn’t interfere with game play.

Bottomline: A delightful app about farm animals that has the perfect amount of activities for the toddler and pre-school age range.
