Princess Fairy Tale Maker is the newest app by award-winning developer Duck Duck Moose.
Featuring 32 whimsical storyboard scenes including gardens, rainbows, castles, pirate ships, and more, the Fairy Tales section of this app promotes creativity through interactive stickers, drawing, and storytelling. Users choose one of the 32 storyboard scenes, a plain background, or an image in their camera roll, to create a new story. Animated stickers, featuring characters like princesses, mermaids, and pirates, as well as animals, accessories, food items, letters, and numbers, help tell the story. Stickers flip directions and can be resized to fit, but they do not rotate. Crayons and colored pencils of numerous colors allow users to create additional items or words to add to each scene.
This section also allows creators to narrate the action of the scene. Stickers can move around the storyboard as the narration occurs, letting users be as creative as they want with the storytelling process. Completed storyboards are saved to the “My Drawings” section of the app where they can either be edited, deleted, or saved to the camera roll on your device.
The coloring section of the app features 32 scenes of princesses in various situations. Color the mermaid under the sea, the princess reading stories, landing on the moon, enjoying an ice cream cone, and much more! Thirty-eight different crayons and colored pencils are available as solid colors or rainbow. There is even a “mystery” color option! Twinkling overlays and patterns such as dots, hearts, rainbows, and clouds add to the creative coloring options. Additionally, stickers used in the storyboard section can be added to the coloring pages and the narration feature from the storyboards can be applied to the coloring pages. Completed coloring pages also save to the “My Drawings” section where they can be edited, deleted, or saved to the device’s camera roll.
